What is Kall8?

Kall8 is a fully integrated toll-free service that offers a complete set of online tools to manage and track calls to your 800 numbers in real time. Whether for your business or family, you can instantly activate and route your toll free number, view calls, and analyze the results of your advertising campaigns by simply logging into your account online. All Kall8 toll-free numbers can be programmed to ring anywhere in the world and include a robust set of features at no additional charge.

How long does it take to set up a Kall8 number?

With instant online activation, your Kall8 number will be ready to use as soon as the online application is completed. If a paper application is needed, we will process your order within one to two business days.

I already have a toll-free number, can I still use Kall8?

Yes. Transferring your 800 numbers to Kall8 is easy! All that’s needed is a Kall8 service application, a Letter of Agency (LOA) form authorizing Kall8 to provide service for the number, and a copy of a recent phone bill showing that the number belongs to you.

Can I cancel my toll free service at any time?

Yes. With Kall8, there are no complicated long-term contracts. You may end your service at any time. A $50 number transfer fee applies only if a number was acquired through Kall8 and is transferred to another provider within the first 12 months of service. There is never a charge if you brought the toll free number to Kall8 or if you simply cancel service.

Do I need to install a new telephone line for a Kall8 number?

No. There is no need to install a new or separate phone line for your Kall8 number. Your Kall8 number will ring to any number you choose. You also have the option to set the Caller ID to display your Kall8 number and/or use the Call Announcement feature to distinguish calls to your kall8 number from the calls to your regular phone line.

Do I need to notify my regular local or long distance service to use Kall8?

No. Kall8 does not affect your current phone service in any way.

Is there any difference between 888, 877, 866, and 800 toll-free numbers?

888, 877, and 866 toll free numbers work the same as 800 toll free numbers.

Are there any Setup Fees or Minimums?

Kall8 does not have any minimums or other hidden charges. The amount of each number's one-time setup and monthly fee is clearly listed beside each number in the signup section.

Is there a penalty if I decide to cancel my account?

With Kall8, there are no long-term contracts or cancellation penalties. You may end your service at any time. A $50 number transfer fee applies only if a number was acquired through Kall8 and is transferred to another provider within the first 12 months of service. There is never a charge if you brought the toll free number to Kall8 or if you simply cancel service.

What other types of charges might I expect?

Standard regulatory fees as well as federal, state, and local taxes apply. Also, a $10 decline fee will be charged in the event of a credit card decline.

How will I receive my invoices?

Your monthly invoices are available online for six months. If you require a paper invoice, you can choose to receive them through the mail for a $2 mailed invoice fee.

How am I billed?

Your credit card will be charged for the initial setup and first monthly fee upon account activation. Thereafter, you will be charged monthly for any usage incurred during that month's billing period. Customers who would like a credit limit of over $100 a month, will be charged automatically each time the chosen limit amount is reached.

Can I still use Kall8 if I don't have a credit card or choose not to use one?

Yes. Kall8 can setup a pre-paid account using a wire transfer or check. When a prepayment is received it may take up to 5 days to clear your bank and be applied to your account. Please be aware that you will be responsible for monitoring your usage and ensuring your account does not go over the prepayment amount provided. If it does, your service may be interrupted until a new payment is made.

Am I charged for wrong number calls?

As with any toll free service provider, you will be charged for all incoming calls. If you find that you are receiving a large number of misdials or wrong number calls, we recommend taking advantage of our free call blocking, or custom call forwarding features. Alternatively, using an 888, 877, or 866 number may prove beneficial as these are newer toll free numbers, and are not as prone to wrong number calls as the regular 800 numbers.

I want my toll free number to ring my cell phone: Will I get double-billed for that?

Kall8 only bills for the incoming call to your toll free number. Please check with your cellular service provider regarding your minutes, plan, and terms of service that may have an effect on your cellular bill.

How competitive are our rates?

Very competitive. Bulk minutes are as low as 4.5 cents per minute. Regular plans are a low 6.9 cents per minute within the Continental U.S.! (includes one-way into or from your system, messages delivered or calls you make while checking messages). Card-less calling card, transferred & forwarded calls and call return calls are a low 11.3 cents per minute. You can also go to our order page to get a better idea of what packages cost.

Are there long service contracts?

No, subscriptions are on a month to month basis. If at any time you decide to cancel, we ask that you give us 30-days notice.

Do you have a guarantee?

Yes, we have a 30 day, money back guarantee. If not fully satisfied all you pay for is your call charges.

When will I get my Toll Free Number & Service?

Orders placed before 10 a.m. (pacific time) Monday through Friday can often be issued a number by that evening - but at the latest 24 hours. Later orders should be processed within 24 to 48 hours Monday - Thursday. Orders placed on Friday after 10a.m., Saturday or Sunday will not be issued until Monday afternoon Pacific Time. If you absolutely have to have a rushed order (you've placed after 10 a.m. and want it the same day) there is an option for "rush" service for $50. Contact us via phone for details.

How long can my recordings/greetings be?

As long as you like. The longest we currently have for one recording is about an hour. Incoming messages are limited to 2 minutes from people calling in. This protects you from potential abuse and overcharges. However, if you wish to have longer incoming message limits, it is configurable.

How many outgoing fax documents can I have?

As many as you like. The main menu and each recording of the Ultimate Sales Tool can store it's own fax document. Each fax document can be as long as you like; however we recommend not more than 15 pages.

Can I attach different outgoing faxes to different recordings on the same system?

Yes, on the Ultimate Sales Tool you can have a separate fax-back document for each recording. This is essentially an unlimited number of documents.

How many phone numbers will my system attempt to reach me at with the "Follow-me" call forwarding feature?

As many as you like. You can even set the days of the week and the times of the day you would like to take calls at a particular number.

Can I select my own call forwarding preferences?

Yes, and you can set both the time of day and days of the week you would like to get calls at a particular number. The same is true for Call Back and for Paging.

Does the Call Forwarding feature work with international calls?

Yes. However, it is limited to the following countries: United States, Canada, Mexico & Iceland.

Can I use my existing 800/888 number?

Yes, we can direct your existing toll-free number to your system

Are 800 prefix numbers still available?

Yes, the actual 800 prefix is available. Normally, when you order your service, you will receive an 877 or 888 toll-free prefix. The 800 prefix is considered a "vanity" number because the supply is limited to those which are being abandoned by current customers. There is a $30 fee for obtaining a toll-free number with the 800 prefix and you must specify and order a "vanity number" on the order form with your order if you wish to have an 800 prefix -as opposed to getting an 877 or 888 prefix.

Is Caller ID available with my service?

Yes. It comes with Pro, Lite and Adtrakker. You can see the number of the caller if they leave a message or if they don't leave a message and you can hear the caller hanging up the phone during the recording process. Adtrakker records all calls caller ID's without leaving any message at all.

How many inbound calls can my system handle?

The system uses digital T1 lines in our facility, so we can actually take hundreds or more calls simultaneously. This means you get the benefit of the marketing or advertising you're doing without interference from busy phone lines.

How much is it to get set-up?

For AmazingLITE the initial set-up cost is $44.90 when paying by credit card. (An additional prepayment of $75 is required if paying by check.) After that, it's only $9.95 per month plus minutes & options (if you have selected any).

For AmazingPRO the cost is a 2 month rental of $19.95 to 29.95/month (depending on the options) plus a $25 prepayment for a total of $64.90 to $84.90 to get started when paying by credit card. (An additional prepayment of $75 is required if paying by check.) You can also go to our order page to get a better idea of what packages & options cost.

Can I start with AmazingLITE and upgrade to the AmazingPRO at a later time?

Yes. No problem.

Why do we require your Social Security number or other form of I.D. on our order form?

This is strictly for your protection. This allows us to keep unauthorized users from fraudulently using your credit card or check. The only other acceptable form of id verification is a copy of your credit card statement faxed to us. Again, this is part of our customer service commitment to ensure your security. There are absolutely no credit checks.

Do you offer credit for customer referrals?

Yes. Our current customers receive a one-month credit on their monthly rental for every new customer they refer.

How many voicemail boxes can I get?

Currently, the most mailboxes one of our customers has ordered is 100. However, we can add as many as you need (within programming limits). Our system techs can configure custom systems on a case by case basis. Please e-mail or call with custom needs for a quote. Typically, Lite comes with 5 boxes & Pro comes with 10 boxes. More boxes are only $1 each, sold in blocks of 5.

Can I buy more than 1000 pre-paid minutes per month and get a better rate?

Currently, the best rate on pre-paid minutes is 4.5¢ per minute. That is at the 1000 pre-paid minutes. You may purchase more than 1000 minutes, however, at that rate.

How does this ad co-op set up work?

If you are doing an advertising co-op and using one toll-free number, we have options for your co-op members to have leads or incoming calls rotate among them evenly. We can also configure the system to distribute based on different numbers of co-op shares. There are 2 ways to order this service. Please e-mail us for specific details.

How many messages can a voicemail box hold?

Unlimited. However, it would eventually get to the point where you would want to clean the box out in order to easier keep track of important messages that you saved.

Do you offer tech support?

Yes, our service provider offers tech support 9 - 6 Pacific, Monday through Friday (except Wednesdays - until 5pm). They can customize your system to meet your needs, set up rotational voice mail for your group, help you make recordings and help you in many other ways. Our voice systems are highly configurable through software code. E-mail support through this website is available 7 days a week for general questions.

Why is there a $25 dollar prepayment on usage?

A small prepayment is needed to cover the cost of calls, because each system has a toll-free number and we do not limit access to that number. Having you prepay the usage allows us to keep our cost to you as low as possible.

How long has the service provider been in business?

Since 1995.
